Taye is an Anishinaabe/Ojibwe filmmaker based out of Toronto, Ontario. For over 10 years, he has worked as a writer, director and producer of film & television. He has exhibited his work at festivals such as TIFF Next Wave, Austin Film Festival, NFFTY, Red Nation, American Indian Film Festival and Windsor International Film Festival amongst many others. Most recently, he completed the documentary, “All Sacred Things: Spirit Horses”, for CBC and CBC Gem and toured his latest narrative short, “Scratch”, at film festivals.
He graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University in the Spring of 2021 with a BFA in Film Studies and is a current MFA candidate for Scriptwriting & Story Design, also at TMU.
