Taye Alvis
Founder and owner of Misho Entertainment.
Taye is an Anishinaabe/Ojibwe filmmaker based out of Toronto, Ontario. He is an experienced writer, director and producer of film & television as well as theatre. Most recently he completed a short documentary, “Giiwe: Returning Home”, for the CBC and CBC Gem and will begin exhibiting his latest narrative short, “Scratch”, at festivals. He graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University in the Spring of 2021 with a BFA in Film Studies and is currently pursuing his masters in Screenwriting at TMU.
